Whats everyone been up to this summer then? Can't say you haven't been anywhere when its been 150 degrees in the shade. Whose had the best ride, where was it and who was it with (careful now). Anyone got a new bike? Anyone still up for a ride out in the next month or so?

I get over to Washington some Wednesdays and I just ride alone some evenings when I fancy it so if you fancy a bit of a wander and a coffee or pub stop, give me a shout lads n lasses.

I've used my bike for commuting this week for the first time as i'm on a training course and it's the heaviest rain i've every seen while doing it.  Not much fun on the A19 with loads of spray (had interesting side way action this morning when i was a little over eager on the throttle).  Filtering through 2 miles of tailback at the tunnel made it all worth while though, last day of commute tomorrow before child drop off duties re-commence!!
